Senior Accountant

Job Type: Full-time Position
Physical Setting: Office
Schedule: Monday – Friday

Required Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with an emphasis in accounting
· Minimum of 3 years accounting/finance experience, including experience with financial statement preparation and review
· Strong understanding of internal controls

Preferred but not required:

· ERP experience (including PO/WO workflow)
· HR / Payroll experience
· Construction / Real Estate experience

Job Duties:

· Perform month-end review of facility general ledger and financial statements for multiple entities and intercompany accounts

· Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations

· Regular involvement with cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and various special projects

· Analyze and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and forecasts

· Additional HR and payroll duties as required

New Home Sales Specialist

Schedule: Daily

The New Home Sales Specialist is responsible for the conversion of leads/prospects to buyers,
generating referrals, and building strategic, quality customer and realtor relationships to maximize
revenue for the company.

Qualifications:

• Excellent team, collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Approachable, enthusiastic, hard-working, dedicated, flexible, and coachable

• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new computer programs and applications

• Formal education and/or experience in business, marketing, sales, or a related field a plus but not required.

• Possess or be able to obtain a Kansas Salespersons License

Job Duties:

• Monitor and meet sales goals.

• Staff a community model home on regularly scheduled days (weekends required).

• Meet with prospects for current/future home sales, make presentations to model visitors, and
demonstrate the models and the amenities of the community.

• Qualify prospective buyers.

• Explain principal and interest payments, taxes, insurance, and homeowner associations.

• Prepare required paperwork for each home sale and for prospective buyers.

• Monitor the contract and financing process.

• Keep buyers updated as to construction starts and completion dates and remain actively involved in the sales process through closing.

• Participate in regular company and community marketing events.
